COVID-19 Protocol

In the event someone tests positive who has attended a DFSC event, or has had a contact that potentially affects our club members, Denver FSC will follow all current protocols set forth by Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).  The current guidelines are as follows:

A. Notification
ALL instances of close contact between any member of Denver Figure Skating Club (DFSC) with a positive tested person, or a COVID positive   member, must be reported to the club by emailing

B. In the event a Club Member tests COVID-19 positive:

  • Participants of the DFSC event or gathering will be notified that a “Club Member” has tested positive

  • The club member shall isolate for at least 10 days since symptoms first appeared

  • After 10 days of isolation, the person must be at least 24 hours with no fever, without fever-reducing medication and other symptoms of COVID-19 are improving

  • After 10 days, and the above conditions are met, the club member can return to DFSC events

C. In the event a Club Member has close contact with a COVID-19 positive person:

  • The club member shall self-quarantine for a minimum of 14 days

  • After 14 days, the club member can return to DFSC events so long as they are symptom and contact free

  • A negative test within the 14-day self-quarantine does NOT negate the required 14 day self-quarantine

  • Should the club member remain in contact with the positive tested person(s), eg. a member of their household, the club member must self-quarantine for 14 days after the COVID positive person is fever free for 24 hours and may return to DFSC events following 14 days so long as they are symptom free. If a second member of the household develops symptoms or tests COVID positive, the 14 day self-quarantine starts over.

  • If the club member tests positive during this period then they will follow the guidelines in section B, above

In all cases, please consult your medical provider should you have any questions.
